CFMoto has updated its range of motorcycles to meet the latest BS6 emission standards in the Indian market. The company has confirmed that all BS4 motorcycles will be upgraded to the latest emission standards in the country.
The company has now launched its second model – 650NK before it goes on sale in India. The upcoming motorcycle sounded on the brand’s social media platforms. The CFMoto 650NK is housed in a segment of bare-weight medium-sized motorcycles.
The upcoming 650NK BS6 motorcycle is expected to feature a number of cosmetic changes from its BS4 counterpart. This includes a refurbished refueling device and front windows. In addition, the rest of the motorcycle is expected to be the same.
The 2021 CFMoto 650NK will be equipped with an updated version of the same engine that powered the BS4 motorcycle. It will also use the same 649cc parallel twin unit that produced a maximum of 66.68 hp and a maximum torque of 56 Nm; coupled with a six-speed gearbox. Power numbers for the updated BS6 engine are expected to change.
BS4 CFMoto 650NK showed aggressive design with excellent positioning. Combined with the blue scheme, it turned into streets. The BS6 variant is also expected to undergo a revolution with major design improvements.
The BS6 motorcycle has a partial lift handle, split seats, projector headlights with DRLs, LED lights, soft exhaust, a long tail section with a numbered mark and more. It is also expected to retain the same digital console without an LCD panel.
The suspension will be handled by a KYB telescopic fork on the front and a mono-shock on the rear. The brake duties will be performed with a double disc brake on the front and a single disc on the rear. The 650NK dual channel will be standard with ABS.
The company recently launched the brand’s 250NK motorcycle, the first BS6 model in India. The CFMoto 300NK BS6 came with no change in design or features. As a result, the motorcycle was compared to its BS4 counterpart.
The BS6 CFMoto 650NK is priced between Rs. 3.99 lakh to Rs. 4.5 lakh. It will be available in five languages in India – Thane, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Coimbatore.
