TVS-owned Norton Motorcycles to launch in India

Norton Motorcycles, the legendary British motorcycle manufacturer now under the ownership of TVS, has announced its plans for the future. The company plans to launch up to six new motorcycles in the next three years. More importantly, Norton Motorcycles will debut in India soon.

TVS Motor Company will invest in engineering as well as R&D for these motorcycles. The company will also aggressively expand Norton's presence around the world. In addition to India, sales are planned to increase through trading partners in the United States, Germany, Italy and France.

It is said that although the company will introduce new motorcycles, their prices will be higher. Currently, motorcycles like the Norton 961 Commando and VRSV are very expensive.

It will be interesting to see what type of motorcycles the company offers and what prices they will target. After all, pricing is crucial in a price-sensitive market like India.

In addition to these announcements, TVS has also formed a new senior leadership team for Norton Motorcycles. The company has been busy digging Norton out of the various problems it had buried underneath. There were orders that were not implemented and employee pensions were delayed. TVS says it has been able to meet the demands and is now focusing on growing the Norton brand.
