Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said on Tuesday it has launched an updated version of its Innova Crysta multipurpose vehicle in the country, priced between ₹16.26 -24.33 lakh (ex-showroom).
Enhanced safety features
The new version of the model comes with several exterior design changes and improved safety features, such as a forward-range sonar (with MID display) to prevent collisions while parking in tight spaces, TKM said in a statement.
Larger infotainment system
It added that the new version also comes with a new and larger infotainment system and connectivity features such as real-time vehicle tracking, geofencing, and last parked location, among others.
Commenting on the launch, TKM Senior Vice President of Sales and Service, Naveen Soni said that the model redefined the segment when it was introduced in India more than 15 years ago as a premium multipurpose vehicle (MPV).
“Over the years, we have strived to improve Innova facelift by absorbing advanced technologies and features and regularly releasing improved versions. The bolder new Innova Crysta continues this legacy in keeping with our tradition of customer-first focus.”
Best for long distances
Sony indicated that the launch is limited to a special time for customers seeking unmatched safety and unmatched comfort while traveling long distances with family or to meet business needs.
The Innova Group has been a pioneer in the MPV industry in India for over 15 years. The model has sold over 8.8 lakh units so far.
