Hero MotoCorp has teased a new version of the Super Splendor ahead of its launch in India. However, the trailer doesn't reveal many details and suggests that this next version will come in black. Note that the company already offers an all-black version of the 100cc Splendor Plus that has a black base paint with the Hero and Splendor Plus logos on the fuel tank and side panel, respectively.
Changes are likely to be limited to cosmetics only, and this new version of the Super Splendor 125 will likely maintain the standard variant's mechanical and hardware specs. Therefore, this new variant should come with a BS6-compliant air-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 10.7 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
The hardware will comprise telescopic front forks, five-step adjustable rear springs and 130mm drum brakes on both wheels. The bike is also available with a 240mm front disc brake option. The safety grille on all variants includes an integrated braking system.
This new version of Super Splendor 125 should hit the Indian market very soon.
