Mahindra Marazzo AMT models revealed ahead of launch

Mahindra Marazzo is expected to be launched in the next few weeks.

It appears Mahindra may be launching the AMT variants of Marazzo in the coming weeks. The RTO document reveals the variants that will come with AMT. The good news is Mahindra will offer AMT in all variants, including the base M2. We expect to receive a premium of around 50,000 rupees on the manual model. The price of manual variants is shown below:

Marazzo Variants

Manual Prices (ex-showroom)

M2 7- / 8- seater

Rs 11.64 lakh

M4+ 7- / 8- seater

Rs 12.73 lakh / Rs 12.81 lakh

M6+ 7- / 8- seater

Rs 13.72 lakh / Rs 13.80 lakh

The Mahindra Marazzo AMT will continue to use the 1.5-liter 122 PS/300 Nm diesel as its manual counterpart. The Marazzo engine will be mated to a 6-speed AMT, like the XUV300 that utilizes the same powertrain.

In addition to the AMT,  Mahindra Marazzo will be offered with the new 163PS 1.5-liter mStallion petrol engine that can come with both a manual and an automatic transmission. However, different petrol variants could see daylight at a later stage, as Mahindra has yet to reveal any official information about its launch.

The introduction of the AMT diesel engine will definitely help attract more buyers. Marazzo is set to compete with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta. We hope it will hit showrooms in the coming weeks.
