Magenta Clean Mobility and Clean Electricity launched a nationwide business partner outreach program starting in December 2020. Under this initiative, Magenta will identify partners across India to implement a low-cost electric vehicle shipping platform. The 3-phase program will begin with partner training in electric vehicle technology, EV charging, and IT infrastructure support. In later stages, Magenta will establish sales, deployment, and support background for 2W, 3W, and 4W shipping across India.
This plugin was created to develop entrepreneurs in the field of charging electric cars, thus creating jobs using EVSE hardware and software technology. The microservices-based charging software platform developed specifically for the Indian ecosystem enables a democratic approach to electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The company says the adoption of electric vehicles in India will not be driven by large, capital-intensive shipping networks, but by smaller charging platforms.
Having been funded by HPCL in 2018 and chosen by Shell for the E4 Innovation Center in 2019, Microsoft recently selected Magenta to help it expand and grow to leverage its technology. Under the ChargeGrid brand, Magenta has already installed and deployed electric vehicle chargers for various private and gove
ment organizations in 19 states and union territories in India. With this awareness program, Magenta aims to increase the electric vehicle charging support network in 300 regions in India in the coming years.
