Delhi-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Komaki has introduced a new electric scooter to the market. The new offering is called Komaki SE and is priced at Rs 96,000 (ex-showroom). The manufacturer says the new SE competes with conventional 125cc scooters and is powered by a 3kW BLDC electric motor with a detachable Li-ion battery. The Komaki SE offers a top speed of 85 km/h with a range of 95 to 125 km on a single charge. Engine power output not disclosed.
In terms of design, the Komaki SE looks like a traditional electric scooter and is identical to the Okinawa iPraise, especially with its headlamp design, LED daytime running lights, and faux vents on either side. The offer is available in three colors: Garnet Red, Deep Blue, Metallic Gold, and Jet Black.
The Komaki SE features include a front glove box with a USB charging port. There are also drive modes. You can also have a self-diagnostic system onboard according to the company and also receive service reminders. There is also a color LED display, a multimedia control switch with a built-in Bluetooth speaker, and a remote lock with an anti-theft system. The suspension tasks are handled by telescopic forks at the front and dual shocks in the rear, while the braking functions come from disc brakes at each end. Komaki says the SE consumes 1.5 charge units for a full battery.
The Komaki SE competes with a handful of offerings including Okinawa iPraise +, Ampere Magnus Pro, BGauss B8, Odysse Hawk Lite, and a host of others in the e-scooter category for under Rs. 1 lakh segment.
