-Ferrari Roma to be powered by a 3.9-litre V8 with a new F1 eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox which will produce 612 bhp / 760 Nm
-Based on Ferrari’s new lightweight chassis.
Italian performance manufacturer Ferrari will launch the Roma Coupe in India on July 7, 2021. The new model aims to offer a range of premium features in its class that further enhance the driving experience. Roma receives a new light body developed by Ferrari for its new generation of models. The company claims that 70 percent of the Ferrari Roma components are brand new.
The upcoming Roma claims to offer the best combination of aerodynamic performance and style. One notable feature includes the rear spoiler integrated into the rear window. The rear wing can be deployed in three different modes: low drag, medium downforce and high downforce. The company further claims that the wrap has a shark nose effect. The two fully linear LED headlights are intersected by a horizontal light that enhances their character.
Mechanically, the Ferrari Roma is powered by a 3.9-litre (3855 cc) V8 engine that generates 612 horsepower between 5750 – 7500 rpm and 760 Nm of torque between 3000 and 5750 rpm. This engine is mated to a new F1 eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The top speed is electronically limited to 320 km/h and the vehicle can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 9.3 seconds.
The new steering wheel is designed with the philosophy of “eyes on the road, hands on the wheel”. The digital instrument cluster is protected by an elegant box that extends naturally from the instrument panel. Instrumentation is now fully digital and all displays are completely black when the vehicle is not running. The instrument cluster has a 16-inch high-resolution display with a navigation system. In addition, the car will have an optional 8.4-inch HD center display.
