2021 TVS Star City Plus BS6 teased ahead of launch in India

Star City Plus likely to receive minor updates to the exterior looks, new features and more colour options.

TVS Motor has released a new teaser for their motorcycle, TVS Star City Plus BS6. Details on the new bike are unknown but the bike may be a new special model or a new option in black. The visuals of the motorcycle in the teaser image match the current model, which was released last year, in January 2020, with a set of cosmetic updates along with a BS6 compliant engine. The teaser says that the new TVS Star City Plus will be released soon in India.

TVS Star City Plus Specifications

Now, we think the new bike could be a special edition TVS Star City Plus, which appears to be getting an all-black treatment. In terms of features, we can see LED headlights with sleek silver bezels, a long sculpted TVS branding bumper, black mirrors, clear lens indicators, a long one-piece seat, and a grab bar. All these features are already offered in the current model. Star City Plus also comes with some smart features like a digital partial controller, a portable USB charger, and 5-step adjustable shock absorption on the back. The bike also comes with oil-dampened telescopic front forks and black 5-spoke wheels with a set of drum brakes: 130mm at the front and 110mm at the rear. All these features and equipment are likely to be retained in the next model.
