Kabira Mobility launches Hermes 75 commercial delivery electric scooter at Rs. 89,600

Kabira Mobility, a goa-based EV startup, has launched a new electric scooter called the Hermes 75. The company claims that the Hermes 75 is India's first high-speed commercial electric scooter. It is priced at Rs. 89,600 (ex-showroom, Goa). The Hermes 75 electric scooter will be available at all the authorized showrooms of Kabira Mobility from June 2021. Earlier this year the EV startup also launched two high-speed electric bikes, KM3000 and KM4000 for which they received more than 6,000 bookings within four days of the commencement of bookings.

The Hermes 75 electric scooter is equipped with a 2500W delta hub motor combined with a 60V 40Ah lithium-ion battery. The fast charger can charge the battery by 100 percent in four hours. The declared range of the Hermes 75 on a full charge is 120 kilometers, while the maximum speed is 80 kilometers per hour.

Kabira Mobility offers fixed and swappable battery options with the Hermes 75 commercial delivery electric scooter. According to the company, the fixed battery offers a range of 120 km and the swappable battery offers a range of 80 km under standard conditions.

Other prominent features of the Hermes 75 electric scooter are its 12-inch tyres, front and rear disc brakes with synchronized braking, digital dashboard, IoT, and a mobile app as well. It is the first electric two-wheeler meant for commercial delivery to be approved under FAME II subsidy.
