New Delhi – Italian luxury superbike manufacturer Ducati launched the Ducati Panigale V2 in India starting at Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Ducati Panigale V2 will be powered by a 955cc Superquadro twin-cylinder engine producing 155hp and 104Nm of peak torque and is the first BS6 launch of the year for the Italian manufacturer.
This engine is coupled to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and gets bi-directional quick-shifter as standard. Ducati has already started pre-booking this bike against an initial amount of Rs 1 lakh
The Ducati Panigale V2 borrows many styling cues from the Panigale V4, including dual-LED headlights with LED DRLs, two large air intakes, tall windshields, dual-layer aerodynamics, a muscular fuel tank, a stylish split seat, and signature 5-spoke alloy wheels.
Globally, Ducati Panigale is available in two colors: Ducati Red and White Rosso with red accents.
The Ducati Panigale V2 gets a TFT instrument console and other electronic functions such as traction control, wheelie control, and a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) which instantly detects bike’s roll, yaw, and pitch angles.
The Ducati Panigale V2 gets three riding modes: Race, Sport, and Street, and the rider can choose between these modes using switchgear on the handle.
