Range Rover Velar 2021 is launched by Land Rover in India. The SUV is only available in one version (R-Dynamic S), but with the option of a new diesel engine.
Petrol variants is priced at Rs 79.87 lakh and diesel variants is priced at Rs 80.71 lakh respectively (both prices, ex-showroom).
Both engines have a capacity of 2.0 litre. The petrol turbo produces 250 bhp and 365 Nm. The diesel, on the other hand, generates less power at 204 bhp, but makes up for it with 430 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that powers all four wheels.
Previously, the petrol-powered Velar was sold at Rs 75.28 lakh. For a premium of Rs 4.59 lakh, Land Rover now offers a 360-degree camera, electronic air suspension, cabin air ionization with PM2.5 filter, and a new Pivi Pro infotainment system.
This latest infotainment technology consists of two 10-inch touch screens located one below the other in the center console. While the top screen is for entertainment, the bottom screen is for climate control.
