The new Mahindra Scorpio S3+ variant is priced at Rs. 11.99 lakh, which is Rs. 68,000 more affordable than the S5 at Rs 12.67 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Reservations for the new edition can be made online or through any of the brand agents across India. Deliveries of the same are expected soon.
The S3 was previously discontinued in the Scorpio, during the transition to the BS6. However, the alte
ative has now been reintroduced, offering an SUV at an affordable starting price.
Mahindra Scorpio S3+ features
The new Scorpio S3+ includes most of the features and equipment available on the S5. That said, the new entry-level model doesn't lose a few of them, including a side step, speed-sensing door lock, vinyl seat upholstery, and unpainted body cladding on the front and rear bumpers. The new Mahindra Scorpio S3+ continues to be offered in the same four paint schemes as the S5. This includes Diamond White, Dsat Silver, Molten Red, Black Fury, and Naples. The Mahindra Scorpio S3+ continues to offer features such as a 17-inch steel wheelset, manual central locking, steering with tilt adjustment, manual conditioning, engine start/stop, and rear parking sensors. Mahindra will offer the Scorpio S3+ in a 7 or 9-seat configuration. The SUV will come with long, side seats in the last row. Mahindra Scorpio S3+ engine and gearbox
The new entry-level Mahindra Scorpio S3+ will be powered by the same 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine. However, like the lower-spec models, the S3+ will come with a revised version that produces 120 hp and 280 Nm of peak torque. It will be mated to a standard five-speed manual gearbox, to drive the rear wheels.
