While it wasn’t long ago that JaguarLand Rover India came to India with the latest version of the Jaguar F-Pace SUV, the automaker has once again impressed enthusiasts with a new offering. This time it’s the high-performance SVR version of the handsome F-Pace. Reservations for the SVR specs started in June 2021, and the F-Pace SVR has now launched in the country at Rs 1.51 crore (ex-showroom).
The Jaguar F-Pace SVR is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces a whopping 543 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. The cunning cat jumps 100 kilometers per hour from standing still in four seconds and runs at 286 kilometers per hour. Jaguar’s all-wheel-drive system comes standard.
In the appearance department, Jaguar hasn’t played around with the exterior styling and the SVR continues with sporty-looking dual J DRL headlamps and slim LED headlights. New are redesigned fenders with larger air intakes and an “SVR” badge on the grille.
Changes to the interior include SVR features such as a split steering wheel, a sports center console, a new engine selector, a 360-degree 3D camera, and wireless updates. Additional features include a centrally stacked 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an updated Pivi Pro and an air purifier.
The Jaguar F-Pace SVR competes in the luxury performance SUV class against such models as the Audi RS Q8, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe, and the BMW X5M.
