Servotech, a Delhi-based EV tech company, has bagged an order for 1,500 fast EV chargers from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). HPCL has invested around Rs 102 crore for the manufacturing, supplying and installing DC EV chargers nationwide, prioritizing HPCL's retail outlets.
In addition, Servotech will also manufacture and supply chargers to OEMs for electric vehicle chargers. The instalment will include two charger capacities: 60 kW and 120 kW. The Delhi-based company has supplied 4,000 EV chargers across the country and recently received an order from BPCL to install around 1,800 DC EV chargers with a project worth Rs 120 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarika Bhatia, Director, Servotech Power Systems Ltd. said, “We are honored to be part of the electric mobility revolution in India along with HPCL. We are confident that our vehicle DC fast chargers are of high quality and technologically advanced.” Advanced electric vehicles will help create electric mobility touchpoints, optimize transactions, improve availability, simplify discovery and facilitate mobility for electric vehicle users.
