Benelli is all set to storm the motorcycle industry and disrupt the market with their new Benelli 302 S. This bike is the sport variance of the Benelli 302 R and uses the same body frame as that of the Benelli TNT 300. This makes this a fusion child of those two models in their low range bikes that the company has to offer. Now that the flagship models such as the 899 and TNT R has been officially discontinued from their line of supply in India due to their low sales rate. Since there has been a drop in two of their flagship models Benelli is looking forward to compensating for the inclusion of the Benelli 302 S.
To its name, the new Benelli 302 S is designed to look more of a sporty bike than a regular bike. It uses the same frame as of the TNT 300 which means the cost of production has been cut down to a significant amount. This is because they don’t have to create a new frame for this bike. This bike has a naked model that is the frame of the bike that is visible. On top of this, it also consists of a sharp design factor for better aerodynamics than its other versions.
Benelli 302 S sports two front disk plates and a single plat on the rear. These are supposed to have better tires than the other two models. The overall weight of the bike is said to be 198 kg which is expected from this model considering the frame of the vehicle is a bit heavy. The current design of the Benelli TNT 300 is more or less similar to the KTM duke 390 of the 2016 model. So Benelli is far behind its competition in terms of design. The new 302 S carries a similar headlight like that of the 2019 KTM duke. So this might also be a little used to in terms of the customer’s point of view.
Benelli 302 S has a 300 cc engine that is capable of producing 38.26 BHp at 11500 rotations per minute and has a torque of 26.5 Nm at 10000 rotations per minute. This is the same when compared to the older version of the bike. But these engines seem to do a fair job in customer satisfaction, this may have made the company to carry forward with the same engine.
It has a fully digital meter that has all the required data about the bike. The tires in this version have also been upgraded to better performance for their users. The headlight, as well as the tail light of this bike, is LED which is also an upgrade from their previous versions.
Benelli is likely to release the bike in four color variance. Black, white, red and green will be the options to choose from in terms of the color of the vehicle.
The price for the Benelli TNT 330 is said to be around 3.5 lakhs while the 302 R is approximately 3.7 lakhs. Benelli is said to release this bike at a similar price or even lesser than the existing version.
