TVS Motor Company has launched two new variants of its popular 125cc commuter bike – the TVS Raider Dual Disc ABS versions. The new models come in two trims: the TVS Raider SXC DD priced at ₹93,800 and the TFT DD variant priced at ₹95,600 (ex-showroom). With these new additions, the Raider lineup becomes even more appealing for buyers seeking both performance and safety in the 125cc segment.
Modern Styling with Enhanced Performance
While the new TVS Raider Dual Disc variants retain the muscular and sporty styling of the existing Raider 125, they get updated graphics and a sleek metallic silver colour complemented by eye-catching red alloy wheels. These updates enhance its youthful appeal and reinforce its sporty character.
Under the seat, the Raider remains powered by a refined 124.8cc, three-valve engine that delivers 11.2 hp of power and 11.75 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm — leading numbers in its class.
Key performance features include:
- iGO Assist with Boost Mode for quick throttle response and improved torque delivery.
- GTT (Glide Through Technology) enabling smooth low-speed riding in traffic.
- Improved tyre configuration (90/90-17 front and 110/80-17 rear) for better grip and cornering stability on all terrains.
Safety and Technology Take Center Stage
The standout addition to the new variants is the Dual Disc Brake setup with ABS, a first in this category. This upgrade enhances braking confidence and safety, providing riders with superior control even during sudden stops.
In terms of technology, the bike gets a TFT display along with the TVS SmartXonnect™ platform enabling:
- Bluetooth connectivity
- Voice assist and call alerts
- Turn-by-turn navigation
- Incoming notification management
These smart features make the TVS Raider Dual Disc not only performance-oriented but also technologically advanced among 125cc offerings.
Designed for Urban Riders with Adventure Spirit
The TVS Raider Dual Disc is built for young urban riders who want sporty design, practicality, and modern tech in one package. TVS has combined efficiency with excitement — making it an ideal bike for daily commuting and weekend rides alike.
With improved stability, safety, and connectivity, this latest update strengthens Raider’s position in the 125cc premium commuter segment and challenges its rivals like the Honda SP 125 and Hero Glamour Xtec.
