India Kawasaki Motors introduced the BS6-compliant middleweight Kawasaki Versys 650 Tourer in the country. The 2021 Kawasaki Versys 650 BS6 is priced at 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered in a Candy Lime Green shade. The new version of the motorcycle that complies with BS6 gets a price increase of only ₹ 10,000 over the BS4 model and new sports graphics on the fuel tank. The motorcycle gets small improvements for the new model year, while power output has seen a marginal decline as the engine meets new emissions regulations. Reservations for the new Kawasaki Versys 650 began through dealers for a nominal amount of ₹ 50,000, while deliveries are scheduled for the end of August 2020.rnrnThe 2021 Kawasaki Versys 650 BS6 continues to draw power from the 649cc twin-cylinder engine that now delivers 65 hp at 8,500 rpm and 61 Nm of maximum torque available at 7,000 rpm. In comparison, the BS4 version developed 68 hp at 8,500 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The six-speed gearbox has been changed. The engine tends to deliver a powerful mid-range, which has been kept in the updated version.rnrnOther parts of the cycle remain the same, including a 21-liter fuel tank, USD 41mm front forks with 150mm of travel, and a single-shock offset opening at the rear with 145mm of movement. Both units are adjustable. Braking performance comes from 300mm petal discs at the front and two-piston calipers, while the rear has 250mm petal disc brakes with a single-piston caliper. Riding a bike on 17 ''alloy wheels.rnrnAside from the new engine, the Kawasaki Versys 650 BS6 remains identical to the previous model. The bike also doesn't get the new TFT console that makes way for other BS6 Kawasaki motorcycles, while it also misses the Rideology app that provides smartphone connectivity via BlueTooth. The current semi-digital controller has a gear indicator. The adventure tour continues to feature an adjustable windshield, wide handlebars, and a comfortable, upright seating position. It keeps the dual headlights that continue to use halogen bulbs instead of LEDs.rnrn Kawasaki Versys 650rn
