Yamaha has updated the R15 V4's color palette with the release of a new Dark Knight Edition paint scheme. The option is priced at Rs 1,81,900 (ex-showroom), making it more affordable than the Blue and Intensity White paint options, but more expensive than the Red paint scheme.
Now, like all the other Dark Knight Edition paint schemes Yamaha has offered on its other models like the FZ and R15 V3, the color option has a matte black base paint with gold highlights. These appear on the competitor's KTM RC200 front and side panels, as well as on the gold wheels.
Other than that, the R15 Dark Knight Edition remains the same. It continues with a single-cylinder 155 cc engine that produces 18.1 HP and 14.2 Nm. The engine is connected to a six-speed gearbox. However, other features such as dual-channel ABS and LED lighting for the headlights and taillights are also retained.
The Yamaha R15 V4 goes up with several competitors in India such as the KTM RC 125 and RC200, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and Bajaj Pulsar RS200.
