Volvo brings XC40 Recharge single motor variant to India at Rs 54.95 lakh

Volvo Cars India has introduced the XC40 Recharge single motor variant priced at INR 54.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for this electric vehicle can be made exclusively online through the Volvo Car India website.

The XC40 Recharge single motor is manufactured at Volvo's facility in Hosakote, Bengaluru. Pre-booking for the car has already begun and customers can reserve their vehicle at the nearest Volvo Car India retail partner.

According to the company, the pricing of the car has been set strategically to expand its customer base.

The XC40 Recharge single-motor variant has a range of up to 475 km (WLTP) and 592 km (ICAT test conditions) on a single charge, giving drivers the confidence to explore. With 238 HP of power and 420 Nm of torque, the XC40 Recharge accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds, providing exhilarating performance and prioritizing sustainability, according to the company's press release.

Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director, Volvo Cars India, expressed delight at the introduction this new model and emphasized Volvo's dedication to offering a combination of performance, sustainability and convenience.
