Upcoming 7 seater SUV cars in India in 2021

The 7 seater SUV segment in India has rapidly gained popularity. Indian buyers now want a larger ride with more comfort at affordable prices. Automakers in the past few years have been successful in launching affordable and high-performance SUVs in different price brackets such as Toyota Fortuner, Maruti Ertiga, Ford Endeavour, Mahindra XUV500, etc, for the Indian market. 1. Hyundai Alcazar

rnHyundai has confirmed that a seven-seater version of the Creta SUV, called the Hyundai Alcazar, will be introduced to the Indian market this year. Hyundai has also revealed the design sketch of the 7 seater SUV. The Alcazar SUV is likely to go on sale in the second quarter of 2021. The new car will compete with Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and the next generation Mahindra XUV500.rnrn"rnrnThe Hyundai Alcazar will be driven at a 20 mm longer wheelbase and will be 30 mm longer than the Creta. This will allow Hyundai to free up space for the third row of seats. The new Alcazar will get an extended rear and thicker D-pillar. If reports are to be believed the SUV will also have Hyundai SmartSense technology which includes features such as  Automatic Emergency Braking Technology, Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist,  Automatic Reverse Emergency Braking, Driver Attention Warning, etc. The new Hyundai Alcazar will be offered in a 6- and 7-seat design. The SUV will likely have 1.5-liter petrol, 1.5-liter diesel, and 1.4-liter GDI turbocharged petrol engine.rn

2. Jeep H6

rnJeep launched two new models in India this year, the Jeep Compass Facelift and Jeep Wrangler. Now, the carmaker is gearing up for an all-new 7 seater SUV based on the Compass platform. The Small-Wide 4 × 4 platforms, will be modified to fit an SUV with a longer wheelbase. A longer wheelbase will help Jeep create additional space for the third row of seats. The new Jeep H6 will compete with the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor.rnrnJeep H6 7 seater SUV Jeep H6 will be based on Small-Wide 4×4 platformrnrnThe SUV will share interior panels and features with the Compass. 3. New Mahindra XUV500

The SUV will be offered with two engine options: a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine and a new 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine.rn

4. Mahindra Bolero Neo

Bolero Neo will look similar to the previous TUV300, which features a clam-shell bonnet, square wheel arches, and headlights. The new Bolero Neo will come with a new front fascia with an updated grille and reconfigured headlights.rnrnThe 7 seater SUV will have a revised dashboard layout and an updated center console with a new touchscreen infotainment system. The Bolero Neo can also get new seat upholstery and a tool console. It is likely to be powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5L diesel engine producing 100 hp and 240Nm of torque.
