Triumph Street Twin EC 1

The paint job on this special edition Triumph Street Twin EC1 is inspired by the classic custom motorcycle culture in East London. In fact, EC1 is the postcode of the area, and this is how this special edition motorcycle gets its name.

The Street Twin EC1 tank features a new two-tone matte aluminum and matte silver finish. A subtle hand-painted silver coach lining adds to the visual appeal and so does the new EC1 graphics and badge. You will see a similar silver color on the side panels and the mudguards.

These silver bits contrast with the engine, wheels, mirrors, and headlight bowl.

Mechanically, there are no changes. The bike is powered by a 900 cc twin-cylinder engine with 65 hp and 80 Nm.

Triumph Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT 221 Special Edition

The Triumph Rocket 3 set also receives the Special Edition treatment. The 221 Special Edition, as it's called, gets its name from the 221 Nm of peak torque produced by the Rocket 3's 2,458cc engine.

The bikes feature a striking red coloration on the fuel tank that contrasts with the black side panels and the rear bodywork. The headlight bowl, flyscreen and radiator cowl are also finished in black. A special 221 graphic runs across the knee recesses on the tank and there is another set of graphics on top of the tank, indicating the mental specs of the Rocket 3: 2458cc engine, 110.2mm in. bore, 85.9 mm stroke, 167 hp and 221 Nm. Aren't these a set of numbers to boast of?!

The rest of the mechanical devices, including the electronics suite, are the same as those of the standard models.

Pricing and availability

Triumph Street Twin EC1 will set you back by Rs 8.85 lakh. The Rocket 3 R 221 retails at Rs 20.80 lakh, while the Rocket 3 GT 221 Rs 21.40 lakh. All of these special edition motorcycles are only available for one year.
