Toyota Glanza Facelift is the revamped model of the premium hatchback in India. It is the badge-engineered counterpart of Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The starting price for the model is INR 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). 

The variants include E, S, G, V, and V (O). The new version of the Toyota Glanza comes with a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine, petrol variant of the vehicle, and AMT and CNG options along with the updated Level 2 ADAS suite.

Toyota Glanza Facelift Price in India

Toyota Glanza Facelift's E variant begins at the price of Rs 6.99 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 10.98 lakh for the top-of-the-line V (O) AMT variant. The petrol manual and AMT variants are priced about Rs 1 lakh higher compared to the predecessor. The CNG manual variant is priced about Rs 27,000 higher than before.

Bookings are open at Rs 11,000, and deliveries are reported to begin in the first week of November.

The Toyota Glanza Facelift is offered in five trims with petrol and CNG choices.

Engine and Performance Specs

The Glanza Facelift uses the new Z12E 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine shared with the updated Baleno. It replaces the older four-cylinder unit.

Compared with the older engine, petrol output is 7 hp and 1 Nm lower. CNG output is 7 hp lower but 4.5 Nm higher.

These are claimed figures, so the real-world economy will vary with driving style and traffic.

Colour Options

The Toyota Glanza Facelift gets two new colours, Digital Teal Green and Bluish Black. Toyota's full color palette was not detailed in the reports I reviewed, so check the brochure for the complete list.

Safety and ADAS

Every variant comes equipped with six airbags. Furthermore, additional safety features include ABS with EBD, ESP, hill-hold assist and ISOFIX child-seat mounts, as well as a 360-degree camera on the V and V (O) trim levels. Level 2 ADAS is the most prominent addition, however, CarDekho only lists it on the highest V (O) grade. There is currently no information available on the specific ADAS functions.

Dimensions and Practicality

Boot space and ground clearance were not revealed. The CNG version has very little boot space because the tank takes up most of it.
