Royal Enfield will update its Indian portfolio by launching the Super Meteor 650 in January 2023. In fact, the Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer has also started pre-launch bookings for the motorcycle. In addition, the company also announced the colourways for this cruiser motorcycle that would be sold in our market.
Pricing is yet to be announced, but we expect the base model to be priced near Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Prices may vary based on variant and selected color option. Customers can also customize the motorcycle with various optional accessories.
This cruiser, which is based on the same platform as the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, will be offered in two variants: Standard and Tourer. The Standard Edition will be available in five color options: Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Gray and Interstellar Green. Meanwhile, the Super Meteor 650 Tourer will be sold in two paint options: sky red and sky blue.
Mechanical specs include the same 648cc inline-twin engine as the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Paired with a six-speed gearbox, this engine is tuned to produce 46.2 horsepower and 52 Nm of torque. The limit in the Super Meteor 650.
