-Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Xtra Based on the VXi variantrnrn-Can be purchased at an additional price of Rs.22,900rnrnMaruti Suzuki has unveiled a special "Xtra Edition" of its Wagon R. hatchback. This limited edition, based on a mid-spec VXi model, offers an accessory package at an additional cost of Rs.22,900 over the showroom price.rnrnAvailable at the dealer level, the Xtra Edition includes a range of exterior and interior accessories. Cosmetic additions include wheel arch pads, front and rear bumper guards, body side moldings, and side skirts. Chrome trim for the front grille, fog lights, license plate and tailgate is also available. This package also includes the Interior Design Toolkit. In addition, other additional functions of the cabin are the car charger extender, the luggage compartment regulator and the tire inflator.rnrnWagon R interior Wagon R interiorrnrnOther standard features on the VXi are tilt steering, two-tone interiors, power-adjustable rear ORVM devices, parking sensors, dual airbags, and power windows.rnrnThe 1.0-litre Xtra Edition is priced at Rs.5.36 lakh (ex-showroom), while the 1.2-litre variant can be had for Rs.5.71 (ex-showroom).rnrnMechanically, the Wagon R is powered by two sets petrol engines. The 1.0-litre petrol produces 67 bhp and 90 Nm of torque, while the new 1.2-litre four-cylinder K12M produces 82 bhp and a maximum torque of 113 Nm. In the economy hatchback segment, the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R competes against Hyundai Santro and Tata Tiago.
