KTM 2020 1290 Super Duke R is KTM's naked flagship streetfighter and the 2020 model has received critical updates as an all-new model under the skin. It's lighter than its predecessor, has more roar, and looks worse than ever.
KTM 2020 1290 Super Duke R comes with a brand new chassis, based on the KTM RC8. It gets a new crankcase and a lighter aluminum/carbon composite back frame that helps you lose weight, making your dry weight just 89 kg. Other items that help to trim it are the lightest wheels, the brakes, and the swing. It also gets up-to-date electronics that make the new model, even more, promising in the street-liter class. KTM equipped it with a 1301 cc LC8 reformulated engine that produces 177 hp at 9,500 rpm and 140 Nm peak torque at 8,000 rpm. It features thinner engine cases along with modified oils and cooling mounts, as well as new top-feed fuel injectors and 56mm throttle bodies, which, according to KTM, give the 1290 Super Duke R more control over fuel load.
