The engine of the bike gives 10.5bhp of max power and 10.3Nm of peak torque. The Transmission of the Honda SP 125 is handled by a five-speed gearbox. For the purpose of smoother operation of the engine, the Honda SP 125 is equipped with the unique ACG starter which gives the motorcycle a silent start. It removes the gear meshing noise and makes it possible to start the engine without a jolt.rnrnThe suspension of the bike has the telescopic forks in the front and the twin spring-loaded shock absorbers at the back. The Braking system of the motorcycle is handled by the drum brakes on the base. There is a disc-drum set up for the higher variant of the Honda SP 125. Both the previous as well as this version of the bike comes along with the CBS as standard.
