Kawasaki launched the 2024 edition of the Ninja 300 in India. As has been the, brand’s tradition, it has updated the bike only on the visual front by introducing two new colors: Candy Lime Green and Metallic Moondust Grey. While colors with the same names already existed, these get refreshed graphics. Meanwhile, the lime green color remains the same for 2024.

The Ninja 300 was first launched in India in 2013 as a replacement for the then very popular Ninja 250 bike. Now, almost 11 years have passed and the motorcycle looks identical to the 2013 model, except for the timely addition of new colors and the inclusion of a Monster Rail a few years ago, which seems strange in our opinion. However, it is worth noting that the price of the Ninja 300 in India today is lower than when it entered our country more than a decade ago. Compared to its 2013 launch price of Rs. 3.50 lakh, the latest version costs Rs. 3.43 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom).

The Ninja 300 continues to be powered by a 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 38.88 PS of power and 26.1 Nm of maximum torque. This unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. Underpinned by a tubular diamond-type chassis and rides on 17-inch wheels with a telescopic fork and monoshock. Braking hardware comprises a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS.

The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 300 competes with the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Yamaha R3, and Aprilia RS 457.
