In India, KTM has unveiled the new KTM 390 Adventure, their adventure tourer for 2022. The price of the motorcycle is Rs 3.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, by revising the equipment list, KTM has made it more appealing.
Traction control is now available in two settings on the new KTM 390 Adventure: Street and Off-road. Depending on the riding condition, these modes provide varied amounts of traction control assistance. Another difference is the alloy wheels, which now have five spokes instead of six in the previous model. According to the comapny, these provide "improved rim rigidity and better resistance."
The overall style of the bodywork has remained same, but the manufacturer has introduced two new colour options inspired by the company's Dakar Rally bikes. KTM Factory Racing Blue and Dark Galvano Black colour schemes are now available on the 2022 390 Adventure. With lean-sensitive ABS, a big 14-5-litre petrol tank, and a full-color TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, the motorcycle continues to attract in terms of features.
Another component that has remained intact is the engine. The motorcycle is still driven by a 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve DOHC engine that produces 42.3bhp and 37Nm of peak torque. This engine comes with a six-speed transmission. WP Apex inverted forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock provide suspension, while a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS provides the braking.
