Volvo Cars India has announced the launch and pricing of its 2021 Volvo S60 ahead of schedule. The new Volvo S60 is priced at 45.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Volvo has started accepting online vehicle reservations and deliveries of the new luxury sedan will begin in mid-March 2021. rnRegarding the transmission, the Volvo S60 has a 2.0-liter petrol engine with an 8-speed automatic gearbox for now. Globally, the car has a 2.0-liter engine in a more powerful tuning condition, then a hybrid model is also offered. But there is no diesel and that could alienate potential customers in India. Volvo cars are usually luxury cars and are more focused on providing a comfortable driving experience than being sporty. The 2.0-liter engine generates 187 hp and 300 Nm of maximum torque, both of which are reasonable figures.
