New Delhi: Ahead of the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath rolled out 50 electric buses (e-buses) as part of the city's carbon-neutral public mobility initiatives from the temple.
The electric buses manufactured by PMI Electro Mobility will operate within the city limits to provide the visiting public and pilgrims with sustainable and comfortable public transport that will complement the green transport mission of Ayodhya.
PMI Electro Mobility, India's leading electric bus manufacturer, has the largest fleet of electric buses in the state, the company said.

PMI Electro Mobility has more than 700 e-buses plying across Uttar Pradesh, which will reduce carbon footprint by 11,036 tonnes and save 1,62,06,750 liters of diesel.
