Tractor Retail Sales up by 26.14 Percent YOY in April 2022

The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) had recently issued a Vehicle Retail Data for April 2022, which shows that demand has climbed across all segments. Last month, retail sales of Tractors totaled 48,319 units, up 26.14 percent from the 38,306 units sold in April 2021. Of course, sales in April 2020, which fell to 5,706 units, cannot be taken into account because it was the first full month of the COVID-19 pandemic's shutdown.

Tractor sales grew 26.14 percent year over year to 48,319 units in April 2021, compared to 38,306 in April 2021 and 746.81 percent over 5,760 in April 2020.

Tractor sales have grown in the last month as buyers mood has improved across the rural sector. The forthcoming wedding season, as well as greater crop realisation, have all contributed to this surge in demand. Retail sales have increased year over year for every tractor manufacturer.
