Tata Motors has started a new campaign for its newly launched hatchback car, Tata Altroz with a starting price of Rs. 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom price).rnrnAt a Mumbai event Mr Mayank Pareek, the president of Tata Motors said in a statement, âWe aim to make Tata Motors the most loved auto brand in the country. As per a Net Promoter Score done by Millward Brown, we had been given a score of -1. But now, weâve achieved a score of 23, so the love is growing every day.â  He further added, The Altroz has been designed as a premium hatchback car. The market share of hatchbacks in India is 49 percent, out of this, 26 percent of the share comes from premium hatchbacksrnrnWhen it comes to the engine, the Altroz comes with two BS6-compliant engine options, the 1.2-liter petrol engine produces a maximum power of 86 PS and a peak torque of 113 Nm, while the 1.5-liter diesel engine produces a maximum power of 90PS and a peak torque of 200Nm. Both these engines have been mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with a DCT automatic that has been expected to be brought later on.rnrnThe Altroz is equipped with the top features including a dual-tone dashboard, a 7-inch infotainment system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, steering-mounted audio controls, and cruise control. Also, Tata is offering an array of customization options for the Altroz. The car has cockpit-like interiors, Dual-chamber projector headlamps, dual-tone laser cut alloy wheels, black ORVMs with chrome accents, seamlessly integrated spoiler, LED day time running lights, black contrast roof, and so many other features.rnrnThe Tata Altroz faces competition from various cars in its segment including Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Polo.rnrnTata Altroz is a benchmark for its competitors. It has got a 5 star global NCAP rating. The car has been designed to offer world-class protection with an Agile Light Flexible Advanced (ALFA) Architecture along with an energy-absorbing body structure. The safety features of the Tata Altroz include ABS, Electronic Brake-force distribution, Corner Stability Control, Dual front airbags, reverse parking camera, Isofix Anchorage for child seats, voice alerts, height-adjustable seat and more.rnrnThe Altroz is equipped with the gold standard of technology. The car gets an infotainment system by Harman, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, 17.78 cm digital instrument cluster, ambient mood lighting, rear AC vents, wearable key, spacious cabin, and others. The other standard features include umbrella holders in the front doors, a front power outlet, 4-inch LCD MID in the instrument cluster, tilt-adjustable steering, automatic door re-lock, front power windows, and a flat rear floor.
