Royal Enfield has collaborated with Sena, a well-known name in helmet intercom systems, to introduce the new 50S mesh communicator. Priced at ₹35,990, it aligns with the cost of Sena’s existing offerings. The 50S is designed to be compatible with most helmets on the market, allowing for easy retrofitting. It also brings several impressive features to enhance rider communication and convenience.

One of the standout features of the 50S is its open mesh intercom connectivity, which allows an unlimited number of riders to connect simultaneously. The intercom range extends from 2km to 8km, depending on environmental factors and the number of users in the network. Additionally, with Bluetooth 5 support, users can pair it with their smartphone to customize functionality and audio settings.

Notably, the 50S is compatible with the Wave intercom, providing unlimited range by utilizing cellular networks. This functionality will be available after a firmware update set to release in Q4 2024. Developed in partnership with Harman Kardon, the 50S’s speakers and microphone ensure high-quality audio. It also includes glove-friendly jog dial buttons and voice assistance for a user-friendly experience. Equipped with a lithium polymer battery, the 50S takes 2.5 hours to charge fully and can last up to 12 hours on a single charge, making it a robust choice for long rides.
