Suzuki has launched the updated model of its 125cc Maxi scooter, the Burgman Street 125. The scooter's name now has an "EX" suffix as well as other changes to the hardware and front end. It's priced at Rs 1,12,300 (ex-showroom), which is Rs 19,000 more than the Bluetooth variant of the existing iteration.
Suzuki has finally done away with the smaller 10-inch rear wheel on the new Burgman Street EX and replaced it with a larger 12-inch unit. This will not only increase the stability of the scooter, but also make the aesthetic more proportional. The feature list is also now longer with the introduction of an automatic engine start/stop function and a silent start system.
Suzuki has also tweaked the Burgman Street EX's engine to improve its fuel efficiency. This was achieved by introducing a more advanced version of Suzuki Eco Performance technology that works in conjunction with the new Auto Start/Stop feature. Additionally, the new EX iteration retains the Suzuki Ride Connect feature that makes it easy to pair the console with the driver's smartphone to give access to mobile communications alerts and turn-by-turn navigation.
Finally, Suzuki introduced three new color options for the new Burgman Street EX, the No. 2 Metallic Matte Platinum Silver, Metallic Royal Bronze and No. 2 Metallic Matte Black.
