Maruti Suzuki has announced the prices of the Grand Vitara mid-size SUV, starting at Rs 10.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings of the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos rival, available in six variants across nine colours, began in July.
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is available in six different variants including Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+ and Alpha+. Customers can choose from nine colors; Nexa Blue, Arctic White, Gorgeous Silver, Grandeur Grey, Chestnut Brown, Stately Red, Polar White with Black Roof, Exquisite Silver with Black Roof and Stately Red with Black Roof.
The new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is available with two powertrain options, including a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine with mild hybrid and a 1.5-litre TNGA petrol engine with powerful hybrid. The former, making 102 bhp and 137 Nm of torque, is paired with a five-speed manual unit and a six-speed torque converter automatic unit. All-wheel drive (AWD) is only offered with manual variants. For its part, the powerful hybrid version, also known as the Intelligent Electric Hybrid System, produces 91 hp and 122 Nm through the ICE unit and 114 hp and 141 Nm, coupled exclusively to the e-CVT unit. The company also revealed fuel efficiency figures for all of its engines.
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara comes equipped with features such as split headlight design, new 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels, color contrast skid plates, roll-up LED taillights, shark fin antenna, panoramic sunroof and black interior. two-tone brown, full digital display, 360-degree camera, HUD, 9-inch touchscreen SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, HUD, paddle shifters, Suzuki Connect telematics and driving modes.
