Hyundai has announced that the new sub-compact SUV Hyundai Exter will be launched in India on July 10. The automaker also said that the Hyundai Exter 2023 will dashcam with dual cameras, a first in its segment. Exter will intensify the competition in the compact SUV segment and will compete against Tata Punch, Maruti Fronx, Renault Keger, Nissan Magnet and more.

After receiving great feedback from customers on the images released so far, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Hyundai EXTER in India on July 10 this year.
Hyundai said the smart power sunroof will even respond to voice commands like "Open the sunroof" or "I want to see the sky."
Hyundai said the dual-camera dashcam features a front and rear camera, a 5.84 cm (2.31-inch) LCD screen, smartphone app-based connectivity and multiple recording modes.
In addition, "the dashcam also supports Full HD video resolution and allows users to capture footage from both the front and rear cameras. The dual camera dashcam has different recording options such as Driving (Normal), Event (Safety) and Holidays (Time lapse)," Hyundai said to enhance the customer experience.
Hyundai opened bookings for Hyundai Exter earlier this month. Customers will now be able to book the Hyundai EXTER at Hyundai dealers in India or on their online platforms at a price of Rs 11,000. The prices are expected to start from Rs 6 lakh.
Hyundai EXTER will have five variants including EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect and will be available in 6 Monotone and three dual exterior colours, including two exclusive new colours: Cosmic Blue and Ranger Khaki, which also They are available with dual color options.
Hyundai EXTER will be powered by a 1.2-liter Kappa gasoline engine (E20 fuel ready) and will be available with a five-speed manual transmission (5MT) and Smart Auto AMT (automatic manual transmission) versions. Hyundai also said that a CNG version of the small SUV (1.2-litre Kappa bi-fuel petrol with CNG engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission) will be available.
