Mercedes-Benz India today launched the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ facelift in the Indian market at a price of Rs 92.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has also unveiled a new 2023 Mercedes-Benz A-Class priced at Rs 45.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Mercedes offers an 8-year engine and transmission warranty on the new Mercedes A-Class range.
Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ facelift
Exterior: The front end of the luxury car gets revised headlamps with an AMG-specific radiator design. The AMG Crest emblem takes center stage as the front badge. Mercedes-AMG offers the rear Aerofoil as an accessory.
Interior: Following the new aluminum AMG design elements in black and silver inside the cabin, the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ received a Mercedes-AMG Performance steering wheel with touch control panels and the MBUX infotainment system from latest generation - NTG7. You also get AMG's new graphics, like AMG Dynamics Select. Other notable interior features include wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and 20% improved USB charging capability.
Engine: Under the hood, the AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ facelift is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, producing a maximum power of 421 hp. The engine is mated to a modified AMG Speedshift DCT 8G transmission. Mercedes claims that it is the fastest AMG accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. On top of that, you get an AMG suspension and the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive system with AMG Torque Control.
Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift
Exterior: The new Mercedes-Benz A 200 Limousine has a forward-sloping bonnet with a redesigned radiator grille, featuring a Mercedes-Benz star pattern. The sporty character is emphasized by the new 17-inch 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels. At the rear, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz A-Class gets new LED taillights.
Interior One of the highlights of the interior of the new A-Class is the presence of two independent 10.25-inch screens in the center console. The list of interior features includes a modified steering wheel, the latest generation of MBUX, modified center and engine displays, wireless connectivity with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, and three modes (navigation, assistance, and service). In addition, the new A-Class gets the Mercedes Me app and the MBUX voice assistant, which provides assistance like connecting your smartphone via Bluetooth and unlocking the car remotely. The 2023 Mercedes-Benz A-Class also received a revised IT system and a 20% increase in USB charging capability.
Safety Features: The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class comes equipped with seven airbags. Adding a knee airbag improves vehicle safety. Another notable feature of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz A-200 Limousine is keyless navigation, which means that the car key can stay in your pocket and you don't even need to hold it in your hand.
HANDS-FREE ACCESS: The boot lid features a touch-free opening where a sensor area under the rear bumper detects a kicking motion with your foot.
The German luxury carmaker has also confirmed that the Mercedes-Benz A 200d will launch in the fourth quarter of 2023.
