Honda Cars India has launched the highly-anticipated Elevate SUV in India, priced at Rs 10.99 lakh, ex-showroom. With Elevate, the Japanese company has finally forayed into the growing mid-size SUV segment.
Under the hood, the Elevate gets a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine sourced from the Honda City sedan. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed CVT transmission and produces 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of peak torque.
Talking about the design, this car boasts a masculine exterior design, which is characterized by an eye-catching front end, with a large front grille and stylish LED headlights with chrome trim uniting them. Overall, the Elevate has a boxy design and sits on 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels that follow the design of the 17-inch units available on the facelifted City.
Inside, it gets a new floating type 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well as a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster. It also features a single-panel sunroof, catering to the growing demand for this feature among buyers.
In terms of safety, Honda also offers the Honda Sensing ADAS suite with features such as a lane monitoring camera, vehicle stability Assist with electronic stability and traction control, hill start assist, emergency stop signal, parking sensor wake, and more.
The Honda Elevate is available in a range of colors, including Orange Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Gold Brown Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Meteorite Gray Metallic.
