Honda launches BS6 compliant Honda city petrol sedan , priced from Rs 9.91 lakh

Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) had introduced the premium sedan car Honda City in a BS-VI compliant version on Tuesday. The price of the car ranges between Rs 9.91 lakh and Rs 14.31 lakh.rnrnHonda City's BS-VI compliant petrol model is made available in the manual and the automatic transmission types. The diesel model, on the other hand, will be introduced soon, as per HCIL's statement.rnrnHonda has said that it has also introduced the Digipad 2.0. It is an advanced form of the infotainment system, in the V, VX and ZX variants of the Honda City. It comes with the 17.7 cm advanced touchscreen audio, video, and the navigation system along with the smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems. Although, the base SV model does not have the new Digipad 2.0 infotainment system.rnrnMr. Rajesh Goel, the Senior Vice President & Director of HCIL, Marketing and Sales had said, "The launch of the BS-6 compliant Honda City will be followed by the subsequent introduction of the BS-VI versions of other models in our lineup".rnrnHe further added, that the new Digipad 2.0 in the Honda City will be providing the enhanced features, and greater access and connectivity to our customers on the go, hence helping deliver ease and convenience."rnrnThe company has also made a commitment to bring in the latest and the most advanced and environment-friendly technologies to the Indian auto market, that too in cooperation with the policies of the Indian government, he said in a statement.rnrnHonda Cars Limited sells the BS-VI compliant version of the Honda CR-V Petrol and the Honda Civic Petrol model since they were launched in the month of October 2018 and March 2019 respectively.
