BMW R nineT 100 Years launched in India at Rs 24,00,000

BMW Motorrad India has announced the launch of the R nineT 100 Years Limited Edition in our market. Celebrating the company's 100th anniversary, this limited edition motorcycle is priced at Rs 2,400,000 (ex-showroom, India) and bookings have commenced at dealerships across India.

BMW R nineT 100 Years Edition: Styling Upgrades

The BMW R nineT 100 Years Edition will be limited to just 1,923 units worldwide. This model has a special paint theme combined with various chrome elements. The fuel tank, for example, combines black and chrome paint with a double white coating. On top of that, you also get knee pads and a "100 Years" badge. Meanwhile, this motorcycle has a seat cover with a chrome finish at the rear and the passenger seat features a two-color combination of black and oxblood for an exclusive look.

BMW R nineT 100 Years Edition: Additional Components

The unique styling is carried to the front wheel cover and is painted black with white with a white double lining. The design is further enhanced by various black components. Next, the Option 719 components include the classic 719 wheels with black anodized rims and the Option 719 Shadow Milled Parts Package which includes milled cylinder head covers, engine case covers, seat holders and an oil filler plug. In addition, the Option 719 Shadow II milled parts package consists of adjustable cranks, a footrest system, pillion footrests, expansion tank covers and handlebar end mirrors.

Changes to the Standard Edition are limited to design updates. Meanwhile, this limited-edition bike continues to use the same air/oil-cooled twin boxer engine as the standard bike. This engine has been tuned to deliver a maximum power of 107PS at 7,250rpm and maximum torque of 116Nm at 6,000rpm. The maximum speed of this motorcycle is estimated at more than 200 kilometers per hour. It features an 18-litre fuel tank and tips the scales at 221kg. Hardware consists of upside-down front wishbones, rear monoshocks, dual front discs, and a single rear rotor. The list of features for this motorcycle includes full LED lighting, USB charger, adaptive headlight, Riding Modes Pro, heated grips, and cruise control.
