BMW 740d M Sport launched in India at ₹1.81 crore. Check what's new

The 7 Series 740d M Sport is powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder diesel engine. It produces a maximum power of 282 hp and a maximum torque of 650 Nm between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm. It is mated to an automatic transmission. BMW claims the 740d M Sport can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.

The 740d M Sport's touchscreen infotainment system can be used via voice commands as well as gestures. As standard, it comes with Cruise Control, Attentiveness Assist, Reversing Assist and Parking Assistant Professional with remote parking via smartphone.

The interior is finished in 'Merino' leather which can be had with n Amarone, Tartufo, Mocha, Black and Smoke White. Up-front, the kidney grille is illuminated by a glossy black frame. M-specific changes include side skirts, M logos, black exterior mirrors, blue brake calipers, a rear spoiler and 21-inch alloy wheels.
