Tata Motors has officially launched the much-anticipated Harrier and Safari facelifts. The new Harrier is now priced at Rs 15.49 lakh, and the Safari is priced at Rs 16.19 lakh. Bookings for both the Harrier and Safari Facelifts had already commenced earlier, and the SUV can be booked for a token amount of Rs 25,000, either online or at authorized Tata Motors dealers.

2024 Tata Safari, Harrier: Key Design Changes
The updated Harrier features a comprehensive makeover, featuring a significantly redesigned front end, with sleek LED daytime running lights joined by an eye-catching LED light bar. The rear is adorned with slimmer tail lamp clusters, adding to its contemporary appeal.
2024 Tata Safari, Harrier: Variants explained
Both the Harrier and Safari Facelifts are offered in four variants: Smart, Pure, Adventure and Fearless. Tata Motors has equipped the SUVs with several new features, including the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), featuring adaptive cruise control for enhanced safety. Additionally, the Harrier and Safari come with seven airbags, a modern gear knob known as 'Smart E-Shifter', paddle shifters, and dual-zone automatic climate control, featuring a user-friendly touch-based control panel.

Inside, the updated Harrier showcases a new illuminated logo on the steering wheel, a next-generation 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation screen and an impressive 10-speaker JBL sound system.
The Safari's facelift mirrors the exterior and interior updates of its five-seat counterpart, the Harrier. Like the Harrier, the Safari Facelift is also available in four variants: Smart, Pure, Adventure and Accomplished.
2024 Tata Safari, Harrier: Powertrain Options
Under the hood, both the Harrier and Safari are powered by the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which produces 168 PS at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of torque in the 1,750 to 2,500 rpm range. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission for their preferred driving experience.

Both the Tata Safari and Harrier scored five stars for adult and child passengers. As part of the GNCAP requirements, the Tata Safari and Harrier are also equipped with ISOFIX anchorages and 7 airbags as standard, with a passenger airbag deactivation switch. In addition, the Safari and Harrier also meet UN127 and GTR9 requirements for pedestrian protection as standard.
