Earlier this month, BMW India revealed its plans to launch 10 exclusive '50 Jahre M Edition' versions across the product portfolio to celebrate 50 years of BMW's M Performance division. A few days ago, BMW launched the first of the promised 10, the M340i 50 Jahre M Edition, and now, the company has gone ahead with the launch of the sixth edition of the 50 Jahre M Series.
The price of the new edition of the Series 6 50 Jahre M is Rs 72.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Take a look at the new complete price list for the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo:

The 6 Series 50 Jahre M Edition features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that develops 258 hp of peak power at 5,000 rpm, along with 400 Nm of maximum torque available between 1,550 and 4,400 rpm. The engine is mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. BMW claims that the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 6.5 seconds.
The car has BMW's adaptive two-axle air suspension, 6 driving modes, launch control and Servotronic steering assistance. It comes with the BMW 50 Jahre M Emblem, along with the M Sport package which consists of a set of exclusive extras such as M seat belts, the M Aerodynamics package, M sport brakes, etc.
BMW says the 6 Series 50 Jahre M Edition will be produced locally at the BMW Group's plant in Chennai. Available in limited quantities, the customized form can now be reserved online on the company's website.
