Aprilia recently launched the Tuareg 660 in India priced between Rs. Rs 18.85 lakh to Rs 19.16 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is available in three color schemes: Atreides Black, Canyon Sand and Evocative Dakar Podium.
The Atreides Black paint scheme features a black bodywork and a red finish for the chassis. On the other hand, the Canyon Sand color scheme features gold side panels, while the rest of the body remains black. Meanwhile, the Evocative Dakar Podium color gets a white finish on the front fenders and fuel tank as well as blue, red and black decals.
The Aprilia Tuareg 660 is the adventure-ready version of the Tuono 660. However, the adventure tourer is powered by a tubular steel frame along with a compact subframe that houses the 659cc parallel twin engine. The engine produces a maximum power of 80 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 70 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
We expect the Tuareg 660 to be as capable off-road motorcycle as suggested by its hardware. It's suspended by fully adjustable 43mm Kayaba inverted forks up front and a fully adjustable Kayaba rear monoshock. The motorcycle wheel is 240mm long at both ends. In addition, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 features electronic rider aids such as engine brake control, traction control, multiple riding modes and cruise control.
