Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2024 model of the CB300R café racer in India priced at Rs. 2.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The neo sports café racer gets a price cut of Rs. 37,000 and was earlier priced at Rs. 2.77 lakh. This makes it remarkably affordable, which makes a good argument in terms of sales and merchant traffic. Honda did not reveal the reason for the price reduction.
The motorcycle is powered by the same 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates 30.7bhp at 9,000rpm, with a maximum torque of 27.5Nm at 7,500rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist clutch and a slipper clutch. Tipping the scales at just 146 kg, the CB300R is the lightest motorcycle in its category. Complimenting by a 41mm USD bronze front fork and adjustable mono-shock absorber.
Other parts, such as the rear monoshock, brakes and alloy wheel design, remain the same as before. Features of the motorcycle include dual-channel ABS, a rotating digital instrument cluster and full LED lighting.
The motorcycle will be available in two colours: Pearl Spartan Red and Matt Massive Gray Metallic.
