2023 Suzuki Avenis 125 launched in five colour options

The OBD2-A compliant Suzuki Avenis 2023 has been launched in the Indian market with prices starting at Rs 92,000 and up. Rivaling the TVS Ntorq 125 in our market, this 125cc scooter is available in two variants: Standard and Race Edition. The differences between these two variants are limited to the visuals in the form of their respective paint themes.

The standard model is available in four color options: Pearl White with Matte Fibroin Gray Metallic, Matte Fibroin Gray Metallic with Gloss Green, Gloss Orange with Gloss Black Glass, and Matte Black Metallic with Gloss Black Glass. On the other hand, the Race Edition appears in a single paint theme: Metallic Sonic Silver with Metallic Triton Blue. This variant also benefits from MotoGP-inspired livery that enhances the sporty design of the scooter. Check out the variant-wise prices below:

Varient

Price (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Standard

Rs 92,000

Race Edition

Rs 92,300

Note that the paint options do not affect the previous showroom price of the Avenis 125. Thus, all the paint options on the standard variant are available at Rs 92,000. Meanwhile, the Race Edition, which is available in a single paint option, is priced at Rs 92,300. Styling cues on both variants include a skirt-mounted headlight, long-range front turn indicators, tapered body panels, dangling side-by-side exhaust, and a two-piece pillion grabrail.

Mechanical specifications for both variants include the same 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine as the BS6 version. This engine has been tuned to deliver a maximum power of 8.5 hp at 6,750 rpm and a torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm. However, from 2023, Avenis will come with an on-board diagnostic system that detects and clears faults in the vehicle's system.

As for the competitors, the Suzuki Avenis is up against TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Grazia, Hero Maestro Edge 125 and Yamaha Ray ZR in the Indian market.
