The 2022 Audi Q3 was officially launched in the country on Tuesday at a starting price of Rs 44.89 lakh for the Premium Plus variant and Rs 50.39 lakh for the Technology variant; all are ex-showroom. Audi India is banking on one of its most popular SUV models to boost its sales figures yet again and promises a more spacious cabin along with a capable driving experience for potential buyers. Deliveries of the model will begin towards the end of the year.
The new Audi Q3 comes standard with quattro all-wheel drive and a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine that produces 190PS and 320Nm of torque. The SUV can go from parked to a speed of 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. In terms of design, the new Audi Q3 looks sportier than its predecessor and features a single-frame grille in an octagonal design. It has vertical bars and large air intakes. Its narrow headlights go inward in a wedge shape.
The new Audi Q3 is offered in five exterior color options: Pulse Orange, Glacier White, Chronos Grey, Mythos Black and Navarra Blue. Available interior color options include Okapi Brown and Pearl Beige.
Inside, the SUV has a high-gloss design package, power-adjustable front seats with 4-way lumbar support, leather/leather upholstery, rear seat plus front/rear adjustability, leather-wrapped multifunction plus three spokes. Steering wheel with shift paddles and decorative inserts in silver aluminum dimensions.
The latest from Audi comes with a long list of features and advanced functions such as the digital instrument panel, the Bluetooth interface, the Audi Smartphone interface, the dual-zone climate control, the parking assistance system plus rear view camera, cruise control with speed limiter and ambient lighting package, to name a few.
In terms of safety features, the new Audi Q3 has electromechanical power steering, six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat anchors, a top tether for the outer rear seats, anti-theft wheel bolts and space-saving spare wheel.
