2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift: Engine
rnThe biggest change in 2021 Swift is under the hood. The older K12 1.2-liter engine with 83 bhp was replaced by a more powerful 1.2-liter, 90-horsepower DualJet petrol unit introduced at Dzire last year. However, the torque output remains identical at 113 Nm. The new unit also offers a start/stop function that helps increase fuel economy. The updated Maruti Suzuki Swift now has an ARAI number of 23.20km/liter in the manual version and 23.76km/liter in the automatic version, up from 21.21km/liter for the outgoing vehicle. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual unit and a 5-speed AMT unit.rnrn
