Maruti Suzuki launched the Swift 2021 facelift in the country with prices starting at Rs. 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The popular hatchback is getting a mid-life refresh with a host of improvements, both cosmetic and in terms of safety and features. Visual improvements include a new silver-finished grille on grille with thick chrome accents in the center. The model also has new two-tone exterior designs with a contrasting roof. 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift: Engine

rnThe biggest change in 2021 Swift is under the hood. The older K12 1.2-liter engine with 83 bhp was replaced by a more powerful 1.2-liter, 90-horsepower DualJet petrol unit introduced at Dzire last year. However, the torque output remains identical at 113 Nm. The new unit also offers a start/stop function that helps increase fuel economy. The updated Maruti Suzuki Swift now has an ARAI number of 23.20km/liter in the manual version and 23.76km/liter in the automatic version, up from 21.21km/liter for the outgoing vehicle.
