KTM India launched its new KTM Duke 125 motorcycle in the Indian market. Pricing for the new MY21 KTM 125 Duke is Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and comes with a completely new design, inspired by its older brothers, along with a host of new features and other updates. Customers can now book the 2021 KTM Duke 125 entry-level motorcycle at any of their dealerships across India. Motorcycle deliveries are expected to start very soon, considering the new Duke 125 has already started hitting dealerships.
Speaking of the MY21 KTM Duke 125, the most noticeable change to the new model is its distinctive design. The new Duke 125 now features a brand new design that is in keeping with its other siblings for sale in the Indian market. According to KTM, the design and styling of the new 2021 Duke 125 are said to be inspired by the brand 1290 Super Duke R. The new KTM Duke 125 now has a sharper, more efficient, and sporty look.
Besides the new design updates, the new Duke 125 also comes with a new bolted rear subframe and a larger steel tank, which changed the ergonomics of the ride. The new 13.5-liter tank in the new KTM 125 Duke is designed to provide a better leg connection, which, together with the revised seats, gives the motorcycle a more reliable sporty driving position. The new KTM 125 Duke now also comes with an all-new WP suspension setup, with telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock in the back. KTM is also said to have updated the chassis and braking components on the new Duke 125 motorcycle, however, the new KTM Duke 125 will carry the same engine, which comes in the form of a liquid-cooled 125cc single-cylinder unit. It produces 14.3 hp at 9,250 rpm and 12 Nm of maximum torque at 8,000 rpm, along with a six-speed gearbox.
In addition to the aforementioned changes, the new KTM Duke 125 now also comes with two color options: Electronic Orange and Ceramic White.
